About Karen Smith

I am a Therapeutic Counsellor and Psychological Coach, qualified through the Institute of Counselling UK in Therapeutic Counselling and Cognitive Coaching.

I support individuals to better understand themselves, navigate challenges, and build confidence, resilience, and meaningful change in their lives.

Alongside direct client work, I have contributed to research support with the Royal College of Psychiatrists and the NCCMH, and have worked with charities, schools, local authorities, and private organisations.

My work is grounded in a belief in human potential and a commitment to personal growth. I approach each individual with curiosity, respect and care, supporting them to develop insight, build resilience, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
